Letter to Larry

Lore published a letter in last week's Scents of Pride newsletter, I thought it was worth sharing online as well.

From Leticia Guido

"Hi Larry!!!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for my opportunity!!!!!  I love this business!!  I was so star struck when I had the new owners breakfast with you in New Jersey I couldn't bring myself to say anything.  I'm working very hard to meet you again!  I am hoping during a company trip!  My office is in Maryland and so far I have averaged 500 a week with my "Rookie of the Year" partner, Earley Gaynor.  I LOVE YOU for changing my life and for giving me the chance to own my own business without an NYU degree.  I didn't want to be a lawyer anyway, haha!  It's great!  I love what I do now.  I promise I will work as hard as I can to get the Dream Team Schotts' numbers up!

<3 Sincerely Yours,

- Leticia Guido"

Are you minding your business?

I was watching the news earlier (something I don't do very often), but it seems like the same old story over and over... "Homes foreclosing, banks going out of business, unemployment rates going up, etc. etc. etc."  It got me to thinking, so here are my thoughts this evening...

A lot of people are feeling the financial pinch right now.  The economy is in the toilet, people aren't making or spending as much money, and a lot of people are pretty much on E.

Scary times.  But some people are thriving.  Some people understand that you can't always count on good times, a steady paycheck, or the government for your financial security.  You have to make sure you're "minding your own business," as Kiyosaki put it.

Whether you're an employee or self employed, if all your money goes somewhere else, then you're only minding other people's business and not your own.  Which is fine as long as things are going your way, but "when the tide rolls out, you see who's been swimming naked."  That one's from Buffett (these quotes just keep coming to me).

If you're fortunate enough to be in a position to have a great income, take a minute to think about who's business you're minding at the end of the day.

And if you're struggling, you've probably cut a lot of expenses from your life, and you're living very conservatively.  Take note of how little you can live on and still get by, and keep that in mind as things get better.  Maybe you'll think twice about how you spend your money, and maybe next time things get lean, you'll be in a better position to ride out the storm.

Ok, time to shut it down.

Scentura Creations: "A Timeless Opportunity"

Feel free to check out the new landing page for Scentura Creations: www.scenturacreationsopportunity.com

It really is an amazing opportunity when you break it down...

Scentura doesn't ask you to invest any money, it's not a franchise, it's not a pyramid or multi-level marketing business, there's nothing to purchase, there are no sign-up fees, in fact Scentura takes all the financial risk. The only thing required from you is your time and hard work. How many companies out there are willing to offer that?

Short Motivational Video

A couple years ago I read a book that gave a good illustration of how most people think about success and failure.  Then went onto show how successful people view success and failure.

Most people's idea of success vs. failure:

Successful people's idea of success vs. failure:

In other words, it's through failure we achieve success.  Here's a short video that drives the point home nicely...

New Site for Larry Hahn

Hey Guys.

I built a webpage that tells Larry's story.  You can check it out here. (www.larry-hahn.com)

I think people are interested in his story, how he got started, how he came up with the concept for the Scentura Creations opportunity, etc.  So I thought it would be a good topic for a landing page.

Share it, tweet it, post it, whatever you do... let's get it out there.

Thanks!
